Painted Desert Sheep!

 

We originally started with American Blackbelly Sheep because my fiance's grandfather raised them on this same property fifteen years ago. However after raising them for some time we quickly realized that we enjoyed the bigger horns and larger variety of color that Painted Desert Sheep offer! All our sheep are registered with the PDDS and all have very impressive bloodlines!

Pros of Painted Desert Sheep:

• SO MUCH COLOR! And you never know what you are going to get!

• Hair Sheep= No sheering

• Hardy= Low maintenance with worming and vaccinations

• Great mothers= no need to intervene

• Lambing all year round with at least twins every time

• Believed to be the best tasting lamb!

• Rams have massive horns with great curl
